According to the structure of gas and liquid contact parts, towers are divided into two kinds: packed tower and plate tower. Packed tower is one of the most popularly gas-liquid mass transfer equipment. It has widely application in distillation, absorption, desorption and steam stripping , extraction , wash , heat exchange and chemical transform, etc. Regular filler is much more used in packed tower.

Material:

metal: carbon steel, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 317, new anticorrosion material 15, etc.

Orifice corrugated filler
● Characteristic:

The metal orifice corrugated filler is made of sheet metal. The sheet metal is first stretched and punched to specific form with diamond orifice, then is pressed to corrugated filler. This kind of filler integrates merit of the wire-mesh filler and that of the corrugated plate filler. It has advantage of light, low pressure-drop and high efficiency.

● Characteristic:

Calender corrugated orifice plate filler is made of sheet metal in 0.1mm~0.12mm thickness, the sheet metal is punched and pressed to corrugated. Since there are a great quantity of holes in the filler, gas-liquid mixture stays on the filler's surface more time, gas and liquid exchanges much more sufficiently and the efficiency of separation is much more higher. The geometry size of this kind of filler is similar with that of the orifice plate filler. Its orifice diameter is from 0.4 to 0.5mm.It serves in fatandoil industry, fine chemistry as well as pharmaceutical industry.
