Pall ring is a new type of filler improved on Ranchig ring. Compared with pull west ring, because sidewall has been opened window hole , pall ring has improved the liquid distribution of filler layer greatly, therefore it has productivity, low resistance, operating flexible and efficiency higher.. Pall ring is widely applied to industry. It has been studied very ample, so now, it is still the one of major annular filler that has been adopted.

Ladder ring (C M R) are a kind of new type aperture filler. Its height is approximately half of it diameter, one side of ring has taper flange, apertures on the ring wall , and has curved blade to stretch to ring heart. Since reducing the height and special structure of taper flange, not only, have improved gas-liquid distribution in filler layer, but also have increased gas-liquid contact area, which is helpful for liquid gathering and scattering and membrane surface update continuously, therefore, the efficiency is much more higher. General, compared with pall ring, ladder ring filler's through capability can rise 10-20%, and pressure drop reduced 30-40%. The separation efficiency regards specific process technology to raise different level. According to specific condition, ladder ring can be acting to Ranchig ring, pall ring, bubble plate, float valve plate and sieve plate reach the purpose of efficiency, high yield as well as energy saving.

The shape of Intalox ring filler is been situated between annular and saddle shape, so has the advantage of two simultaneously. The structure of oblate ring is similar with that of ladder ring, but it does not have taper flange. The structure assures that the rings face to mutual direction and increases pile density. The inter-curved tendon strip makes that gas and liquid distribution is more equilibrated. It greatly improves separation efficiency. The oblate ring has the advantage of high efficiency of mass transfer, low resistance, more self severing, few entrainment, no scale formation, etc.
