● Characteristic of Ranchig ring & pall ring:

It is a kind of filler that used most early to pall ring, its structural simple, processing convenience and cheap price , therefore have been now still using popularly.

Pall ring is a new type of filler improved on Ranchig ring. Compared with pull west ring, because sidewall has been opened window hole , pall ring has improved the liquid distribution of filler layer greatly, therefore it has productivity, low resistance, operating flexible and efficiency higher.. Pall ring is widely applied to industry. It has been studied very ample, so now, it is still the one of major annular filler that has been adopted.

● Characteristic of Ladder ring:

Ladder ring (C M R) are a kind of new type aperture filler. Its height is approximately half of it diameter, one side of ring has taper flange, apertures on the ring wall , and has curved blade to stretch to ring heart. Since reducing the height and special structure of taper flange, not only, have improved gas-liquid distribution in filler layer, but also have increased gas-liquid contact area, which is helpful for liquid gathering and scattering and membrane surface update continuously, therefore, the efficiency is much more higher. General, compared with pall ring, ladder ring filler's through capability can rise 10-20%, and pressure drop reduced 30-40%. The separation efficiency regards specific process technology to raise different level. According to specific condition, ladder ring can be acting to Ranchig ring, pall ring, bubble plate, float valve plate and sieve plate reach the purpose of efficiency, high yield as well as energy saving.

Intalox ring characteristic:

The shape of Intalox ring filler is been situated between annular and saddle shape, so has the advantage of two simultaneously. On structure, Intalox ring filler has been added annular tendon on saddle shape foundation, which can avoid overlapping and have assured certain strength and tenacity. Some little claws extending have increased gas-liquid agitation, have increased mass transfer. Therefore, the filler has unique performance.

Intalox ring is a kind of new efficient filler, is used to equip new packed tower, its height reduces 35% than plate tower, diameter reduces 30%, and raises efficiency 10-30%, reduces pressure loss 20-60%. Domestic dry type distillation replaces wet distillation test research showing, it can reduce investment 20%. With new Intalox ring can increase yield and reduction power consumption and cost, separation efficiency rises, economic benefits notable, this both mean significant for building a new enterprise or long-standing factory technical reformation recently.

Conjugate ring
● Conjugate ring characteristic:

Conjugate ring is a kind of improvement of Intalox ring type filler. it was developed in South China science & engineering university. Its characteristic is as follows:

  • ◇ It does not occur that the rings are overlap along axial direction when dumped them in tower.
  • ◇ its inter-tendon structure is conjugate shape and liquid can be equalized distribution on the filler surface.
  • ◇ The inter-tendon of abutting rings has more contact points with surface, therefore, liquid intensifies concourse and disperse and membrane surface update continuously.

For these character, conjugate ring has lower resistance to the liquid, gas and liquid contact area bigger, have improved mass transfer performance and the hydromechanics of filler. So conjugate ring is a kind of filler with high transacting capacity, low pressure drop and high mass transfer efficiency as well as operating flexible.

Oblate ringTOP

Oblate ring
● Oblate ring characteristic:

The structure of oblate ring is similar with that of ladder ring, but it does not have taper flange. The structure assures that the rings face to mutual direction and increases pile density. The inter-curved tendon strip makes that gas and liquid distribution is more equilibrated. It greatly improves separation efficiency. The oblate ring has the advantage of high efficiency of mass transfer, low resistance, more self severing, few entrainment, no scale formation, etc.
